Mejuri's Style Booking

What is this?

A feature where the consumer can book a style session with a Mejuri employee via an online channel (google hangout or face time) to see specific (jewellery) pieces up close, get advice on pieces that would be suitable for them or style advice on how to where them. The consumer books an appointment by answering a few questions about their jewellery preferences, style, need, occupation and occasion, as well as a suitable time and channel. At the style session the employee showcase either specific products if consumer have asked for these, or a selection of products and uses the answers from the questionnaire to guide the consumers selection.

Why is it interesting?

The feature is a way to accommodate the difficulties by shopping items that are only available online, such as fit, quality and styling. Many consumers refrain from purchasing jewelries online due to limited return policies and difficulties in determining colour and quality, buy allowing a private session to access these elements as well styling advice and/or product recommendations the brand not only supports the consumer in product selection, but also increases trust and affinity with the consumer, and in turn increase sale and decrease returns and bad experiences. Further, providing the service at the consumers convenience (online, self-booking) it accommodates the time scarcity that many consumers face.
