What is this?
Let your ads highlight danger while driving. To decrease car accidents in one of the most dangerous Australian road, AAMI sent geo-targeted Spotify ads when drivers where close to dangerous spots. While they were listening to music, they would receive ad-hoc ads advising to slow down and pay attention.
Why is it interesting?
The brand has been able to blend together geo-marketing together with a useful service for its potential customers. With the project in place, ads do not become an annoying interruption to drivers’ favourite songs, but rather a helpful tool to stay safe.
