Target customers while they tap the competition. Rakbank has recently launched a new fast-food service. To make sure the right audience was reached, the brand used polygon targeting to send ads to users in the most contextual way possible: 30 competitor restaurants were precisely geo-limited and used a targeting areas for Rakbank’s possible customers.
The ads invited the customers to move to another Rakbank’s restaurant taking advantage of better discounts and offers. On top of that, Rakbank leveraged of the data of its existing bank customers to create more personalised and ad-hoc ads.
The campaign happened to be extremely successful, reaching an amount of app downloads three time higher than expected. It represents an innovative idea to leverage on specific locations to target potential customers.
